Baghdad Burning

Baghdad Burning is a novel created from a blog. The blog, is written by a young Iraqi woman who goes by Riverbend. She began blogging at the begining of the war in 2003 and continues to write about what is going on in her home town. I think in my review of the book I will write about her style of writing and how it changes overtime. In the begining of her blogging experience she is honest, but it felt as if she was still writing as an emotional outlet. As the blog becomes more famous Riverbend becomes a bit more courageous in her writing. Her views were always biast, but they become radical. I would like to talk about how the tone of her blog affected the point she was trying to portray. Her blog went from being a safe place for Riverbend to express herself, but it turned into a place where she bashed America.
